Spirit Servants

A different kind of servant

So, I thought I would offer some tips to new owners of Spirit Servants and help you get started with your new servant.

1) Offerings: The more offerings you give the better, especially if you don't get to talk with your skull for the 5 minutes each day. The best offerings are the ones you relate to most, since that will have more energy intention behind it. Sweet things are always a good offering including rum, candy, and honey.

2) Interaction: The more you talk and work with your skull the better, naturally. Some people are always stuck with what to say. Introduce yourself, tell you skull about you, what you want from it and why it is important to you. Let it know that you are its new master and that you will work with it and take care of it. Befriend it and share with it your thoughts, ideas, hopes and dreams. It may feel weird or foolish at first, but it will pay off in the end. It is even helpful to introduce it to your guests, family and friends. This will help it understand who is safe to be near you and who is not. As they get stronger, they will watch out for you. Remember, as long as you are safe and alive, so are they.

3) Training: Be sure to give it small tasks within it theme to help it build strength. For example, if it is a money skull have it gain for you $20 dollars by the end of the day. Give it a specific way it should show up and by what time. Goals, time limits and specific details will help it learn how to do its job the best. Start easy at first, and slowly move toward tougher goals. At the end of a month, if you do this daily, you will have a strong, well trained Spirit Skull.

4) The key: Many people are confused by the key. The key is charged with the same energy as your skull. It is your connection to your servant. When you leave but want it with you to do work or what not, take your key as a connection and use it to communicate. This is far handier and safer than carrying around a plaster skull.

5) Daily life: Include your skull in your daily life as much as possible. The more it is included, the better it will understand your needs and what it can do to improve your life. Remember that your Spirit Skull is designed to make you happy.

If you have a Graveyard Edition: Understand that the issues listed on your adoption card should be taken seriously. This type of skull will eventually grow its own personality with serious issues that have to be handled carefully and compassionately. Do not let your skull have its way with just everything. These skulls need limits and and boundaries. They also need love and respect.

More on some of the Above

Training

It is time to talk about training your special little servant. It is important to remember that when your skull arrives, two things have been done to the skull. The first thing is that the entity is a small ball of energy, about the size of a marble, within the skull. This energy holds the entities identity, theme and basic skills. The second thing is that the skull is designed with directions to listen to its master, to end its life if the skull is destroyed or if the master dies, and to be receptive and expressive to the best of its ability. That is all. The entity is like a child, it is inexperienced, young, has little energy and needs lots of attention and energy to help it grow and build up.

Each day, besides the talking and energy work for 5 minutes given, there should be some amount of training. We will use protection skulls in our examples here. Each day, a small task should be given to help the skull learn its function and position. So, you can say today you will watch over this house and keep it safe from harm. Or you can be specific and say my wallet, jewelry or what not. Two things are needed: Specific thing to do and a time limit. Specific things so there is no confusion and the entity doesn't get too creative, and a time limit so that it learns the importance of completing a goal.

As time goes on, this can be a tougher challenge like until the end of the week you will watch over this person. When a task is complete, a reward should be given. When the task is not complete, you should repeat it until it is complete. Then repeat it again, to be sure it is really learned. Training a Spirit Skull is like training a pet or a child, so you should think of it as such. A spirit skull will be limited in its usefulness if it is not properly trained and it is not given the proper attention needed. This attention is usually listed in the adoption card you received when your skull arrived.

Remember, the more work you do with your entity, the better it will be at working for you. If you abandon your skull or ignore it for long periods, it will eventually go into a dormancy period where a great amount of energy will have to be given before it will awaken again. Some skulls, especially the Graveyard editions, will need more attention and training than others.

Speaking of the Graveyard editions, many of those will decide to act for themselves when they are well trained enough and strong enough. It is important to keep some kind of an energy leash on these so that they don't get into any trouble.

I hope this is helpful and remember, I am always available for questions and insight any time.

Physical Care

It is time my friends to discuss the physical care of your skull. Let us keep in mind that they are cast of plaster, not the strongest material. So then why plaster? Because it is a natural material, from the ground, and it is best to work with natural materials when doing things like this, don't you agree?

So let us talk about how to care for your skulls long term. Plaster is not friends with dust. Although the skulls are sealed with a polyurithane and a shellac, that does not mean they will not scratch or chip. They still need to be handled with care and a delicate touch. Dust will wear down on the finish and it will hurt your skull if never dusted or cared for in that way. If you ever had the chance to work with real bones (in college I did), you would know that as bone gets older it becomes more fragile. So treat your skulls like they are real skulls and remind yourself that this is a servant and possible friend that you need to care for.

So what happens if your skull chips or other such damage? Well, first lets talk about the life of your skull. The entity that is housed in your skull is designed to live as long as you do, or as long as the skull is whole. By whole I mean if the skull breaks in half, or is crushed or damaged beyond repair, the entity will fade and disappear. So, as long as there is no serious damage to your skull, the entity will be fine. It may not be happy, but it will still be alive and well. That all said, when chips or such do occur, you can always pick up some cheap craft paint at Michael's or such and just do some touch up work. To seal them, I recommend a spray on shellac. It will protect it from short term dust and any moisture in the air.

Some may be worried about pets or people knocking them over. Well, besides the obvious advice of putting them somewhere this won't happen, I would suggest using small pillows or a very soft sand or gravel that you can sit them on. This will help absorb the movement of shaking or knocking and keep your skull steady.
